Aquí recopilo una serie de fotos que he ido haciendo en los últimos meses con un iPhone 8, y las relaciono con obras de arte del siglo XX y XXI. Expongo mi galería digital como si de una física se tratara e intento defender lo indefensable, la belleza, la dignidad y la genialidad del arte moderno y contemporáneo, hacia los escépticos y los que piensan que lo que hay en el MACBA es una tomadura de pelo. Y pongo en práctica mi capacidad de relación. En el proceso de maquetación me he estado recordando de la obra de Georges Dickie’’El círculo del arte’’ en el que se cuestiona qué es la obra de arte en este último siglo —donde el arte se ha ido
deconstruyendo de forma que se ha desdibujado la definición de éste—. Como respuesta, habla de la “institución arte”, que es ésta la que engloba el intento de definir y distinguir entre lo que es arte y el que no lo es; "Todo lo que entre dentro de la institución (museos, galerías, academia) de arte es arte". Frente a este discurso reflexiono en torno a la fragilidad de los conceptos a la hora de definir sujetos y, a la vez, pienso en la belleza de las cosas que nos rodean, tanto lo que se considera arte, como las cosas que no son
consideradas pero que nos topamos en el día en día: la belleza de la ordinariedad.

También pienso en el diálogo entre el autor y el entorno y entre el contexto y la obra y viceversa, como el artista se influencia del espacio físico en la vez que la sociedad que habita este espacio es la que asimila directa o indirectamente las nuevas corrientes artísticas (mainstream). Mientras hacía esto he estado pensando mucho en el dadaísmo, sobre todo en Marcel Duchamp, como los readymades no son más que un trozo de realidad contextualizado dentro de la “institución de el arte”, poniendo en debate el concepto de la obra de arte.
También he pensado en los informalistas y el arte povera y la forma en la que abrazan la realidad transformando los materiales comunes, industriales y naturales en el sujeto artístico.
También podríamos ponernos en hablar de street art, de performance, que no terminaríamos.
Lo que pretendo aquí es una apreciación de la mirada, un juego de relaciones y un cariñoso agradecimiento al arte, que es lo que expresa y me ayuda a entender el interior y el exterior de la forma más pura

Here I collect a series of photos that I have been taking in recent months with an iPhone 8, and I relate them to works of art from the 20th and 21st centuries. I exhibit my digital gallery as if it were a physics and try to defend the indefensible, the beauty, dignity and genius of modern and contemporary art, towards skeptics and those who think that what is in the MACBA is a joke. And I put my ability to relate into practice. In the process of layout, I have been reminded of Georges Dickie's work The Circle of Art, which questions what a work of art is in this last century —where art has been deconstructed in such a way that its definition has been blurred. In response, he speaks of the “art institution”, which is the one that encompasses the attempt to define and distinguish between what is art and what is not; “Everything that enters the institution (museums, galleries, academy) of art is art”. In the face of this discourse, I reflect on the fragility of concepts when defining subjects and, at the same time, I think about the beauty of the things that surround us, both what is considered art and the things that are not considered but that we encounter in our daily lives: the beauty of ordinariness.

I also think about the dialogue between the author and the environment and between the context and the work and vice versa, how the artist is influenced by the physical space at the same time that the society that inhabits this space is the one that directly or indirectly assimilates the new artistic currents (mainstream). While doing this I have been thinking a lot about Dadaism, especially Marcel Duchamp, how the readymades are nothing more than a piece of reality contextualized within the “institution of art”, putting into debate the concept of the work of art. I have also thought about the informalists and arte povera and the way in which they embrace reality by transforming common, industrial and natural materials into the artistic subject. We could also start talking about street art, performance, and we would never end. What I aim for here is an appreciation of the gaze, a play of relationships and a loving gratitude for art, which is what expresses and helps to understand the interior and the exterior in the purest way.
